Coming out of the Baby Fog… Hello? You Still There?

Well, first off I want to thank those of you that are still following my blog…I don't know why you are, but I'll take it!

I haven't posted a thing in over a year. Can you tell I've been stuck deep in the trenches of motherhood? I have to say to those of you that manage to be a stay at home mom to 2+ and continue on with blogging, I have a whole new respect for you. No really….when they say its more work with two, they could have elaborated. Its WAY more work….like, its a good day if I got dressed kinda work.

Well on that note, let me brag a little on whose been taking up all that time of mine…

Meet Jacob Maxwell….born July 5, 2013.

He's the perfect addition to our little family and it melts my heart to see my two boys becoming closer each day. After waiting seven years between boys, I decided that I just didn't want to miss a minute of his first year. What is that Pinterest quote about they're only little once?

Anyways…I've been getting a few comments and Pinterest hits lately on my past posts so it sparked a little fire in me to start blogging again. I can't promise I'll be doing it everyday or even every week for that matter, but if you hang in there with me, I'll try to post some more inspiring design and DIY projects soon.

Thank you for inspiring me to start creating again!

Just want to let you know that we're still out here, ready to enjoy more of your great ideas!

It's easy to see why you've taken a bit of a break from your blog! Precious! What a sweet family you have!

Actually, you and your wonderful creations inspired me to open a booth years ago, while you were over at Frisco Mercantile. My little booth, Cindy Jane's Attic, in Downtown McKinney has grown into a store of our own on the Historic Downtown Square, The Crystal Cloche, with two partners, where we just celebrated our second birthday on March 1. Thank you for inspiring me.

I have had plans to begin a blog all that time, but the store has taken over my life ... I'm still learning balance. :)

Welcome back!
