So I've been a bad blogger :-( So sorry...I'll try to be better! Lately I've been incredibly inspired by coastal design and I've wanted to paint everything in a color I've named Sea Glass. I can't get enough of it!
This table was so beat up and needed a lot of TLC. If it hadn't found it's new home so quickly, I may just have kept it for my new dining set.

I can't wait to see how the new owners plan to incorporate this set into their newly built home that has a Cottage Coastal vibe to it.
I'm also hooked on white dishes and cake stands mixed with glass cloches. I think it adds such a crisp and clean element for spring.
Oh and this little breakfast table and cane back chair set was supposed to be cream...and then I got a crazy idea to try a Sea Foam green. I love how it turned out with a tobacco glaze giving it depth.
I'd love to see some of your "Sea Inspired" design ideas. I must be ready for summer sunshine!
Have a great weekend!
That color is very pretty and refreshing. I have a dining table I need to do..getting ready for summer also. Might I ask who retails that color and the make. Thanks...your photos are great.

I love what you're doing with furniture! I'm looking for a new set for the breakfast room--a 42" round black table (no leaf) and four chairs. Let me know if you do anything along those lines!
ReplyDeleteIt seems like the sea gave you quite an inspiration! But I’m glad you follow your crazy ideas. All the furniture look lovely and enchanting. I did not see the former look of the beat-up table, but I think you did a marvelous job with it. But the breakfast table is the winner for me. The sea foam green paint looks lovely and easy on the eyes. :-)
